pathway to the stars
Lomi Lomi is an ancient and rare form of bodywork and massage from pre-Polynesian Hawaii. The style of Lomi Lomi that I practice is also known as Ke Ala Hoku- Pathway to the stars. This work facilitates an embodied blossoming of new areas of consciousness and a deep sense of relaxation.
This form of massage mimics the ebb and flow of the sea, leading you into a gentle blissful state of relaxation. Using the whole body at once I weave the body using long fluid motions.
This bodywork also aids in unweaving unhealthy or chronic holding patterns in the body, helping the navigation of inner and outer worlds, through movement, breath and embodiment.
Using gently heated coconut oil and beautiful aromas you’ll soon be taken to a still and peaceful place within yourself.
It’s unstructured form helps you slip into deep states of relaxation helping you restore and regulate your vitality from the inside out. Learn the sacred wisdom of your body by gently listening and release your tensions and stresses. This work is a journey and discovery of empowerment.
Who is it for?.
Anyone wanting to relax, restore and balance themselves. I believe if we act swiftly when the early signs of fatigue, stress or anxiety arise we can potentially decrease the likeliness of more serious and chronic health conditions. This bodywork will help promote mind-body wellness in general.
This work is also beneficial for those who are seeking resilience in sports.
