FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I make an appointment?
I highly recommend booking your treatment in advance to secure your preferred day and time.
This can be done in person, by phoning 07522 015 961.
I like to speak to each of my clients prior to treatment so that I can establish an understanding of your requirements and tailor my session appropriately. I will not book initial appointments via text or email.
I ask that you arrive 10 mins before your scheduled appointment so that your session may start promptly and you are in a more relaxed mindset. On arrival you will be asked to fill our a brief consultation which will determine how your treatment can be personalised. This is the time to disclose any medical information which may be relevant to the session.
I ask that you turn your phone off or on silent prior to entering the treatment room. This is your time to disconnect and relax.
Your treatment time is reflective of your entire time with me. You appointment includes your initial consultation and dressing time.
What do I wear?
During a Lomi Lomi treatment you will be asked to remove all clothing and jewellery. You will be covered in a light drapery. It is my duty to protect your privacy at all times and I always establish level of comfort before proceeding to treatment. Some people prefer to be nude during their treatment whilst others require drapery over their breasts.
For swedish or clinical massages/micro treatments underwear may remain on unless working with specific muscular regions.
Do you treat men?
No. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with many male clients, however due to a couple of incidents I have chosen to put my safety first and concentrate on treating women. I do appreciate that not all clients a risk but for my own peace of mind it is strictly ladies only.
The minimum age for treatment is 16 unless accompanied by an adult.
What oils do you use?
I use a variety depending on treatment and skin type and this may change depending on how I feel your skin is reacting. My favourites are generally coconut or sweet almond. All my oils are of the highest quality and are cold pressed to maintain their vitality. Organic oils are available for an additional fee. I suggest keeping the oils on the skin for up to two hours before having a shower so that your skin fully absorbs the oils' properties. This being said I recommend wearing clothes that are not your finest as sometimes the oils may stain clothing. I always offer the option to shower.
Do you offer aromatherapy?
Do you accept gratuities?

Can I talk to you about my problems?
Although I am not a trained councillor I am always available to support my clients and guide them through their sessions. Sometimes emotions can arise during your time with me and I offer a non-judgemental safe space for my clients to experience anything that may arise or be limiting them during our time together. If this is the case longer periods of time may be booked for an additional fee.
Are there any reasons why we can't work together?
I choose not to work with pregnant women as i'm not qualified to do so.
Termination of session.
I am fully within my right to terminate a session without refund if I feel that my safety is in jeopardy.
I may also terminate sessions if I feel that our journey has come to a natural ending or if I believe that an alterniative route of therapy is needed or if the help of a doctor or professional is necessary.
